Naughty Cat Media Pilot takes second place at 2015 International UAV photography awards in Shenzhen, China.

We were honoured to be invited to the inaugural SOHU UAV Photography Awards, and traveled to Shenzhen, China to attend. Naughty Cat pilot Mark was presented with the second place award in the 'International' category for his shot of Fawley Refinery from Holbury. The ceremony took place in the Universiade Stadium (capacity 60,344 so no pressure there!) in Longgang, Shenzhen. Judges included Andrew Wong (UPI/Getty/Reuters) and Chen Changfen (VP China Art Photography Association).  It was the highlight of an amazing four day trip that took in culture and technology, with traditional Chinese meals and even a visit to DJI headquarters! We'd like to thank Sophie Hui and all at SOHU, as well as sponsors ProDrone Tech for an amazing experience!

Award winning Drone Aerial Photographer and contributor to Drone Magazine, UK

We were incredibly proud that our image of Fawley Refinery was one of ten chosen to be displayed at the COP21 Pavilion during the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris.

The image was one of the winners of the 'Small Drones, Big Changes' competition hosted by Dronestagram and sponsored by Nissan.

We were delighted that NCA Pilot Mark took first place in the 2016 SkyPixel 'Elevate Yourself' contest. The winning shot was 'Race Speed' - a dynamic image of Nieuw Bos Cycling Team on a training session in the New Forest.

We think it's important to keep having fun and enjoying the creative side of aerial photography, as well as the commercial work that we do.

Congratulations to Mark who is now the proud owner of a DJI Phantom 4!
